FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • How do I use BOGMAT?
Simply place BOGMAT on the ground to create a temporary access way for heavy vehicles so that you can work without damaging sensitive turf or becoming bogged. Mats can be secured using the corner holes and feature handhold cutouts for easy lifting. All mats made from resin are designed to be flexible in order to increase gripping power, so they must be supported by ground beneath them at all times. They should not be used as a "bridging device" under any circumstances.
  • What is BOGMAT made from?
BOGMAT is a heavy-duty ground mat made entirely from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), a type of hard plastic that is both strong and flexible. It is moulded into a single sheet that is lightweight and easy to handle compared to heavy steel.
  • What sizes are available?
BOGMAT HX is imported in 2300x1100mm size only. The thickness is 12mm plus 3mm traction nubs on both sides (18mm total). Mats can be cut to smaller sizes using a regular power saw, if you wish to cut them yourself.
  • What colours are available?
BOGMAT HX is usually imported in black only, although we occasionally have other colours available. If you are interested in other colours, please contact us and we can advise you of what is currently in stock or may be coming in soon.
  • Can I connect BOGMAT together?
This is not always necessary, as BOGMAT grip the ground firmly underneath heavy vehicles. In some circumstances, however, such as on steep inclines, you may wish to connect mats together. For this reason, BOGMAT features connector holes in each corner. When required, BOGMAT can be connected together using rope, plastic ties, tent pegs, etc., or we also sell steel connectors separately. Please contact us for more information if you would like to know more.
  • Which regions do you ship to?
BOGMAT is available for delivery Australia-wide.
  • How long will my order take to arrive?
Typically deliveries take up to 3 business days from dispatch to arrive for most capital cities, although it can take longer if there are delays. For more information please contact us and we can check directly with the freight company for their estimated delivery time.
  • Do I need to be at the delivery site?
Due to WHS requirements, delivery drivers are not allowed to handle heavy items during delivery. For this reason, you will need to have someone available at the delivery site with a forklift (or for small orders, a couple of people to hand-unload is also fine). Please consider this before ordering.
  • Do I need a forklift?
BOGMAT need to be packed on a pallet for transportation, so to qualify for free shipping you must have a forklift on site to unload. If you do not have a forklift, please contact us before ordering to discuss the freight options.
  • How much do BOGMAT cost?
Please contact us either by phone or email and we will be happy to provide a quote.
  • How can I place an order?
Please contact us by sending a confirmation email and we can issue your invoice to proceed.
  • Can my order be cancelled?
If your order has already entered the dispatch process, it can no longer be cancelled. If it hasn’t been shipped yet, you can request a cancellation by contacting us directly.
  • What payment methods do you accept?
Currently all orders are being dispatched after receipt of EFT payment. If you require another payment method, please contact us to discuss.
